Double whammy post! I'm in the process of trying to build up a portfolio at the moment, and as results day is coming closer and closer, I thought it would be a good idea to do, as if my grades aren't very good then I more than likely won't do history at university, and instead I'll pursue a photography degree.

These are most of the photographs from a photoshoot I did with my friend yesterday. I'm quite proud of them, if I may say so myself! I really enjoyed shooting these photographs, and really hope to take some more photographs, because I really enjoy it. I just need more locations and more people to photograph!

Hopefully I'll find just those two things.

london 2012, 5/8/2012

On Sunday, I went to London with my family and boyfriend to see the Women's Marathon! These are the shots I got, as well as a few of London and the Olympic rings on the bridge, which I'm so happy that I was able to capture! I hope that you like the photographs, and if you can give feedback, that would be fantastic!

I know it's been a long time coming, but here are a few pictures that I've taken! The first 6 are instagram shots(follow me! vickymouse_) The last 4 are pictures that I've taken both today and yesterday. For the first time today, I tried vitamin water! It tastes really good, well, the kiwi-strawberry flavour does! have you had vitamin water before? i'd love recommendations for other flavours to try!

Oh, if you can give feedback on the photos of flowers, that'd be great! I know this isn't much, but seeing as it's summer now, I can finally concentrate on other things rather than pure college work before the start of the new college year, which involves knuckling down!

I really don't use this blog anymore, but I want to get back into using it, so therefore I've decided that isntead of making it a fashion/my life blog kind of thing, I just want to make it my photo blog instead. So I guess it is a 'my life' blog, but it's also where I can document my pictures.

I've wanted to be a photographer since 2008/2009, so therefore I think it's really time that I started taking action within my own life to reaching this dream. I miss using my little canon camera, and converting this into my photo blog is going to motivate me even more as I can use this blog to see my progression through my work(hopefully).

Sorry for being completely out of it and not on here, I promise to post a lot more, especially over the summer!

I'm such a terrible blogger! My last entry was well over a month ago which I apologize for. I've just been so bogged down with work(actually, that's kind of a lie - we had the Easter holidays and I did pretty much nothing but procrastinate. Oopsy..) but over the last two weeks, I've had mock exams, photography deadlines as well as revision, which I haven't done much of. I just can't find the motivation!

Anyway, I have no pictures(because I am lazy and because this is a quick update before I go back to blogging normally) but I will update you on the main things that have happened since March, and there isn't much.

• I went to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour a couple of days after it opened and nearly cried. You ahve no idea how much of a Potterhead I am, and walking down Diagon Alley and seeing Hogwarts in all it's glory was just indescribable. BEST DAY EVER!!!
• I returned back to college and had mock exams(as said earlier)
• At the beginning of this week, I had my five hour photography exam and then for some reason, I decided I'd finish all my book work this week too, so now I've completed the whole course(even though everything doesn't have to be in till monday!) 
• I attended a recruitment evening at Lush(I can't remember if I said about that in my last post, I probably did, but ok) and didn't get pass the evening, which sucks, but life goes on.

um, i can't think of anything else! my life is really boring, i basically do nothing but sit on my computer and go to college and work. that's about it! right, well i must go and attempt to do some revision!

Wishlist: March/April 2012

I quickly whipped up this wishlist for March/April 2012. I'm going to try and do a wishlist every time it gets to the middle of the month. I think with the items on this list a couple of great outfits could be put together.

I'd pair both the Zara heels & the Kitty shoes with the Topshop jumpsuit. I'd put the River Island jumper with the maroon jeans which I would then pull together with the Zara heels. Alternatively, I'd put the RI jumper with the pastel purple jeans and then with the heels, wedges or the Miu Miu flats(which I can't afford, but a girl can dream, right?). And the last look, being the combination of the salmon coloured topshop top with the ASOS skirt, a long with the Zara heels or the kitty wedges! And with the Mulberry bag, well, it goes with every outfit on this list(I'm trying to imagine it with the purple pastel jeans though, and I can't decide if that would work or just look plain awful..)!

Ah! I feel so terrible for not blogging for what? a month or two. I've been so busy. I've had a photography coursework deadline, then I went on holiday to Florida for two weeks, which meant catching up with college work, and now I'm onto the next thing, which is preparing for my exams at the end of this year! Everything is so hectic, and I can't wait till Summer where I can just relax and let loose a bit!

Anyway, earlier this week I popped into WHSmith and picked up Teen Vogue & Company Magazine. I've never bought Company but it has Florence Welch on the cover so I felt inclined to get it.

Sorry for the crappy webcam picture! My DSLR is currently tucked away!

I'm pretty impressed with Company magazine actually. I keep flicking through the pages and thinking to myself, 'Why in the world didn't I pick this up earlier?' I feel silly for not doing so!

Also, yesterday evening I attended the Lush recruitment evening! I really want a job there and luckily when I went in to town on Wednesday after college and asked one of the girls there if there were any jobs going, she said that I should come along to the evening, so after two days of waiting and research I went along to find out that I'm going up against 15 other girls to get a job there. I'm not going to lie, I'm more than a bit worried. I really want to work there, but considering some of the girls were Christmas Temps., I really don't think I stand a chance, but positive vibes, I guess!

ugh, I now must leave to go do some homework! Hopefully I'll be able to update the blog more often now, so stay tuned!
